About
I am a first year Psychology PhD student investigating cognitive biases in delusional thinking.
I am particularly interested in the underlying cognitive motivations that may contribute to the emergence of the jump to conclusions bias amongst individuals engaging in sub- clinical delusional ideation.
I have successfully completed and analysed three experiments this year and have presented my findings for one of these at a local Lunch and Science event at the University of Wolverhampton.
Throughout the remaining course of PhD programme, I hope to research the impact of stress and the perceptions and appraisals of task stress upon the emergence of the JTC bias.
