Senior Lecturer
About
I am a senior lecturer in social work at the University of Wolverhampton. My particular interests are in child protection and child abuse, communication, values and how we can work with people in a positive therapeutic way. I also have academic interests in elearning and eportfolios. I've ppreviously worked as a social worker and social work manager and have been involved in counselling, groupwork, family therapy, solution focused work and neuro linguistic programming. I tend to be quite eclectic and pragmatic, what I really want to know is how to help this person, this family, this team or this organisation learn, change and develop.
When I'm not doing that I love listening to and playing music, cycling, walkng, talking and travel.
