About

BA and MA from Bangor University, PhD from Wolverhampton.

My interests are in Welsh writing in English, the 1930s, book clubs, socialist and proletarian writing, literary masculinities, blogging and politics. I am also an expert on new media / social media's role in protest, especially the recent student protests in the UK. I am also interested in literary responses to economic depressions and recessions.

Peer reviewer for Almanac, the journal of the Association for Welsh Writing in English.

Editorial board member, Australasian Canadian Studies from August 2010.
